Lisa Dwan is an Irish actress from Westmeath. She originally had her sights set at becoming a ballet dancer and left school at 14 after winning a scholarship to attend the Dorothy Stevens School of Ballet in Leeds. Her first acting role was as Agnes in an adaption of Oliver Twist co-starring Elijah Wood and Richard Dreyfuss. She is most well known for her critically acclaimed performance in Samuel Beckett ‘s Not I in London ‘s Battersea Arts Centre in 2005. She performed the piece again in 2009 at London ‘s Southbank Centre and again in Reading University in 2013.
