Han Tiernan is an artist, writer and researcher based in Dublin. Her key area of interest is contemporary Irish queer history and expanding voices within the Irish LGBTQ+ community. Along with artist/curator Brendan Fox, she is the deviser and programme manager of REWIND<<FASTFOWARD>>RECORD (RFR); a national touring initiative to develop creative responses to LGBTQ+ history and contemporary queer representation within a local context.

Han is also the editorial assistant with GCN (Gay Community News) and has been appointed to oversee the digitisation of the magazine’s archive.

In 2020 she was the lead researcher and editor of the Queer-in-Progress. Timeline: Online Archive with Project Arts Centre and is the author of ‘Foul, Filthy, Stinking Muck”: The LGBT Theatre of Project Arts Centre, 1966 to 2000. She is also the curator of the Ranelagh/Rathmines Queer Walking Tour in association with Ranelagh Arts.
