Naoise Dolan is a writer from Dublin. She is the author of the novels Exciting Times (2020) and The Happy Couple (2023). She won the 2021 Hawthornden Prize and has been shortlisted and longlisted for prizes including the Kerry Group Irish Novel of the Year Award, the Women’s Prize for Fiction and the Dylan Thomas Prize. She has performed her Irish-language poetry at REIC and Aerach Aiteach Gaelach events, and is a contributor on Irish-language media including TG4, Raidió na Gaeltachta and Tuairisc. Her third English-language novel is due to be published in 2027.
