Seán McCabe is Head of Climate Justice and Sustainability at Bohemian Football Club. His career has bridged grassroots action and international advocacy to address injustice and marginalisation. He has worked on shaping multilateral climate policy with the Mary Robinson Foundation, strengthening environmental protections in Sierra Leone, advancing children’s environmental rights with UNICEF and the UNCRC, and developing “The People’s Transition” with TASC and FEPS. At Bohemian FC, he leads work on inclusive climate solutions that can be scaled through world football. The club recently launched The Bohemian Cooperatives: Building Community Wealth, an innovative strategy to create climate solutions that tackle inequality and the climate crisis simultaneously.
