Joe Boyd is a record producer and writer, known for his memoir, White Bicycles. Artists he produced include Pink Floyd, Nick Drake, R.E.M., ¡Cubanismo! and Toots and the Maytals among many over the course of a 60-year career. His recent book And The Roots of Rhythm Remain: A Journey Through Global Music came out last year to wide critical acclaim.
