Isabel Fonseca is an American writer. Her writing has appeared in the Time Literary Supplement, The Guardian, The New York Times, and The Scotsman. She is the author of the bestselling non-fiction book Bury Me Standing: The Gypsies and Their Journey (1995). Her debut novel, Attachment was published in 2009. She currently lives in New York with her husband, writer Martin Amis, and their two children. She came to Borris in 2013.
