Justine McCarthy is an award-winning journalist, with over a dozen awards to her name. In a career spanning several decades, she has written for many Irish newspapers including the Irish Independent, Sunday Tribune, Sunday Times and Irish Independent. She has been an adjunct professor of journalism at the University of Limerick and is author of two books: Mary McAleese: The Outsider (1999, Blackwater Press) and Deep Deception (2009, O’Brien Press). She writes a weekly column for The Irish Times. Justine was born in Bandon, Cork, and lives in Dublin.
