Liam Cagney is a Donegal-born musicologist and writer. He writes on music in places like the Irish Times, the Guardian, Gramophone and the Spectator. Recipient of an Arts Council of Ireland Literature Bursary and shortlisted for the White Review Short Story Prize, Liam is currently completing his first book, an essay collection on techno and Berlin club culture. He teaches at BIMM Dublin.
