Patrick Geoghegan is a lecturer at Trinity College Dublin and a regular radio talk show presenter. Winner of the Provost ‘s award for teaching excellence in 2009, Patrick lectures on Modern Irish History and the History of the United States. He presents the award-winning weekly history programme, Talking History, on Newstalk radio, and wrote the text for the multiple award-winning O ‘Connell exhibition at Glasnevin Cemetery. His related book on O ‘Connell was presented to Obama during his visit to Ireland in March 2011.
