“Peter Somerville-Large is a writer of nonfiction and fiction. He was born in 1928 and educated in Dublin. He returned to Ireland to take up a writing career after spending 10 years working abroad. Somerville-Large has written numerous books of travel and social history that include The Grand Irish Tour, Irish Eccentrics and Cappaghglass. His most recent publication is a novel called Uncle Jack: A Novel.
