Selina Guinness is an author and lecturer in English Literature at the Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Dun Laoghaire. She also runs a family sheep farm in the Dublin Mountains. Her memoir, The Crocodile by the Door ( €œso exceptional that it deserves to be ranked as the Irish Book of the Year, regardless of category € – Irish Independent) was nominated for the Costa Book Awards.
