MARGARET ATWOOD AND MAX PORTER - 'A word after a word after a word is power.'

Following on from their fascinating conversation in Borris in 2018 award winning author Max Porter will once again draw out the very best from the iconic Margaret Atwood - novelist, poet, literary critic, essayist, environmental activist, inventor and avid bird-watcher.

In this all-embracing conversation they will discuss fiction, poetry, philosophy, religion, myth and magic as well as the relationship between her poetry and her novels. They will reflect upon the purpose of poetry, dealing with grief and loss and ‘birds as revelations’.
